JOHANNESBURG – The deadline for online admissions for the 2025 school year in Gauteng has been extended to 14 August.
They were supposed to close Monday at midnight.

The system has had its ups and downs, with parents complaining about schools running out of places at the beginning of the year, and children being pushed to areas outside of their zones.
“We therefore took a decision to extend the closing date from the 12th to the 14th,” said Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane.
“We urge parents to apply and complete their application”
